Performance Points Program

MUSIC TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA - SAN FRANCISCO BRANCH

The Performance Points Program is designed to encourage students to participate in MTAC programs and events, and to foster and develop students’ performance experience and development.

Points are collected over the course of each academic year and tallied by each MTAC-SF teacher on behalf of their students. Qualifying students’ names & details are to be submitted online via the Teacher Worksheet by the deadline below for inclusion in the Branch Honors Recital each spring and will receive a trophy award. Students must have at least 10 performance points to qualify.

Performance Points System

Certificate of Merit Exam (Passing) = 5 points
Certificate of Merit State Honors = 5 points
Certificate of Merit 5+ Overall Score = 5 points
Branch Recital participation (per recital) = 2 points
Branch Festival participant = 3 points
Branch Festival winner = 5 points
Branch Masterclass participation = 3 points
