The full day piano teaching marathon is designed to present MTAC members living in the Bay Area and to give them an opportunity to share their great discoveries in the field of piano pedagogy and piano performance with colleagues and the public. Participating teachers may speak on a topic of their choice or/and work with registered intermediate and advanced students in an open masterclass format. Also, they may use the time to introduce their new research project and recent publications.

In 2026, piano professionals from MTAC SF branch was teaching at the Steinway Piano Gallery in San Francisco on one of the fantastic Steinway & Sons grand pianos. This collaborative event was a conversation between MTAC branch members connected by one of the greatest piano companies of our times. MTAC SF is excited to initialize this educational dialog and to create another opportunity for music teachers to get together!
